U.S. stock index futures fell on Tuesday, with Dow futures down 266 points, S&P 500 futures off 28 points and Nasdaq 100 futures lower by 90 points. Ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting, markets were pricing a 92% chance of a 25-basis-point rate hike, according to CME FedWatch. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield climbed above 5% for the first time since 2023 as oil prices also rose. China reported a 5.2% year-on-year increase in industrial production.

Dynagas LNG Partners reported second-quarter 2026 net income of $16 million, up 16.8% year on year, and adjusted EBITDA of $27.6 million. Voyage revenue rose 6.7% to $41.2 million, supported by higher rates and the start of the Clean Energy vessel’s new time charter. Average daily hire increased to about $71,810 per vessel, while fleet utilization was 96.2%. The partnership also said it had an estimated contracted revenue backlog of approximately $730 million.

Oil rose to $107 a barrel on Thursday, its first time above that level since May, as bond yields jumped. U.S. wholesale inflation increased 0.4% from June to July and was up 5.4% from a year earlier, reinforcing expectations the Federal Reserve will keep raising rates, with markets pricing about a 75% chance of a hike next week. U.S. stocks fell, with the S&P 500 down 0.6%, the Nasdaq composite down 0.7% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average off 350 points. Yields also moved higher after comments from Trump about giving a $5,000 “dividend” to all U.S. adults.

U.S. producer prices rose 0.4% month over month in August, matching expectations, while the year-over-year increase came in at 5.4%, slightly above forecasts. Core PPI, which excludes food and energy, increased 0.2% on the month, below expectations, and core less trade services rose 0.3%. Energy costs climbed sharply, with diesel prices surging 24.1% and lifting the overall index.

The data and analytics sector posted broadly better-than-expected Q2 results, with revenue coming in 2.6% above consensus estimates and next quarter revenue guidance 1.3% ahead. On average, the group’s shares have risen 8.1% since the earnings releases. Palantir reported revenue of $1.94 billion, up 92.8% year on year and 6.7% above expectations, while Samsara posted $508.4 million in revenue, up 29.9% and 5.2% ahead of forecasts. Domo was the slowest-growing company in the quarter.

U.S. forces destroyed five Iranian crude oil carriers on Tuesday, lifting concerns about supply disruptions in the Middle East. Brent crude futures rose 1.49% to $99.38 a barrel, while WTI gained 1.54% to $94.46 per barrel. U.S. equity futures were mixed, with Dow futures down 0.11% as S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures edged higher.

IonQ raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $260 million–$270 million, saying the outlook reflects strong commercial momentum and more than 100% year-over-year organic growth. The company said the projection excludes any potential impact from its pending acquisition of SkyWater Technology. IonQ also said it secured an $8.18 million commercial quantum security contract with Congruity360. Shares rose 9.5% in afternoon trading.

S&P Dow Jones said it will add Bloom Energy to the S&P 500 after the company’s second-quarter revenue topped $1 billion for the first time. Management lifted its full-year revenue outlook to $3.9 billion to $4.2 billion on accelerating data center deliveries. The company also expanded its project financing framework from $5 billion to $25 billion.

Elastic N.V. reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $478 million, up 15% year over year, as sales-led subscription revenue rose 18% to $399 million. The company said enterprise adoption of its AI-powered search and cloud platform continues to expand. Shares jumped more than 15% in after-hours trading after the results. DA Davidson raised its price target to $100 from $80 while keeping a Neutral rating.
