Crypto Market Slides to $2.33T as $307M Long Liquidations Hit Bitcoin and Altcoins

On 23 March 2026 at 09:14, the total crypto market cap fell to $2.33 trillion, down 1.94% over 24 hours, with Bitcoin and major altcoins trading lower. Bitcoin hovered near $67,818 (down 1.94% on the day and 8.11% over seven days) while Coinglass recorded $393 million in liquidations in 24 hours, including $307 million from longs. Sentiment also weakened, with Alternative.me's Fear & Greed Index at 8 (Extreme Fear).
