Ripple to Acquire BC Payments Australia, Adding License and Strengthening APAC Network

Ripple is acquiring BC Payments Australia to gain direct control over its cross-border payment infrastructure in the country and across the broader Asia-Pacific region. The transaction will add an Australian financial services license to Ripple's portfolio, which already includes more than 75 regulatory approvals worldwide, and is intended to deepen its role as a regulated global payments provider.
