Bitmine, owned by Tom Lee, acquired an additional 25,000 Ethereum (ETH) from BitGo worth $41.09 million, bringing its three-day accumulation to 125,000 ETH valued at $206 million. The purchases came as ETH slid through June after trading near $2000 at the end of May and later reaching $1,661.50, while it was up 2.85% over the last day at the time of writing.

Santiment said in a post on X that centralized-exchange trading volume across major crypto assets has slid to its lowest level since mid-2024, after peaking around mid-2025. The firm attributed the pullback to trader caution amid macro uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and recent liquidations, while noting that past market rebounds have sometimes started when participation was weakest. Separately, Santiment highlighted continued network adoption, including Ethereum's Total Amount of Holders at 195 million, as Bitcoin traded near $62,700, up 1.8% over the last 24 hours.

Average monthly trading volume across South Korea’s five major KRW exchanges fell from 125.2 trillion won to 98.1 trillion won in Q1 2026. The pullback was linked to a shift toward long-term holding, stronger domestic equities, and macro headwinds such as higher oil prices and interest rates. Policymakers are also weighing DABA Phase 2 rules, including potential caps and stablecoin issuance frameworks.
