Dubai's VARA issues cease-and-desist orders to four entities operating as KuCoin over licensing

Dubai's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) has issued cease-and-desist orders against four entities operating under the KuCoin name, stating the exchange lacks the necessary authorization to provide services in the jurisdiction, according to TheBlock. The regulator also said KuCoin had misrepresented its licensing status in Dubai, alleging the platform was not properly licensed to operate there.
