US Fed, OCC and FDIC align capital rules for tokenized and traditional securities

The US Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation said tokenized securities are subject to the same capital treatment as traditional securities. The guidance applies to instruments issued on both permissioned and permissionless blockchains, aligning regulatory capital requirements across different issuance architectures.
