Details page reconstructed: Structured information and more transparent PnL data
Dear BingX Users,
To improve the Bots experience, we have completed a major redesign of its homepage and Futures Grid. This upgrade optimizes the strategy creation flow, management of running grids, and data display. It also adds practical advanced features and guides to make Grid Trading more flexible, easier to understand, and more efficient.
1. Grid Operation Logic
The system creates grids based on the "Grid No." you set within the "Min. Price" ~ "Max. Price". When the price fluctuates, the system automatically buys low and sells high for long trades or sells high and buys low for short trades, based on your preset interval (price difference).
2. Four Core New Features
1. Dynamic price range — automatically follows market trends
When the market price moves beyond the original range, the system can automatically adjust the price range to follow the trend, allowing the strategy to continue capturing potential profits instead of stopping. Long strategies only support trailing up; short strategies only support trailing down; neutral strategies only support a fixed price range.
Option |
Description |
Applicable scenarios |
Stay fixed |
Price range remains fixed |
Sideways markets with strict risk control |
Always move |
The range automatically shifts upward or downward with market trends |
One-sided market |
Trailing up stop price / trailing down stop price |
Grid movement stops once a preset price is reached |
Set a target during a trend; switch to range trading when it's reached |
💡 Summary: Make your grid strategy more adaptive, capture trends without missing opportunities, maintain control in ranging markets, and lock in profits when reaching the preset price.
2. Adjust trade size per grid — flexible capital utilization
You can dynamically adjust the trade size per grid, allowing you to balance between higher profit potential and capital flexibility.
Direction |
Effect |
Applicable scenarios |
Increase trade size per grid |
Higher capital utilization and larger profit per grid |
When market conditions are clear and you want to amplify single-trade returns; prioritize capital utilization |
Decrease trade size per grid |
Release part of margin, increase withdrawable funds, and improve risk control |
When volatility is high and you need margin reserved to prevent liquidation; or when you want to withdraw part of profits |
💡 Summary: Increase trade size to pursue higher profits, or decrease it to be safer or withdraw funds. After adjustments, the liquidation price and margin ratios update automatically.
3. Modify a running grid strategy — dynamic parameter adjustments
You can adjust core parameters while the strategy is running to respond promptly to market changes.
Modifiable parameters: Price range, grid no./interval, TP/SL, dynamic price range
How to modify:Go to Bots → "My Investments" on the bottom → select the strategy to modify → click "Strategy Details" → "Strategy Parameters" → adjust the parameters and confirm.
4. New grid statuses — better strategy visibility
Two new grid status types have been added:
Pending activation: The strategy has been created with an activation price but is waiting for the market price to reach the trigger level. You can modify the activation price, TP/SL, and dynamic range, or close the strategy.
Modifying: The system is currently adjusting positions and open orders.
3. Bots Homepage: Clearer Asset and Profit Overview
The Bots trading homepage has been fully redesigned to improve asset management and strategy monitoring.
- Asset overview
Total Assets and Today's PnL are now shown at the top, with PnL displayed in real time.
- Creation and positions
My Investments module: Manage running and historical strategies in one place.

5. Strategy Details Page: Clearer Data Structure
In Futures Grid, the Strategy Details page now organizes key information into clear sections:
- Overview: Displays key information, including Profit Info, Fee Info, and Running Info.
- Trade History: Consists of "Matched orders" and "Unmatched orders", with each order's matched profit clearly displayed.
- Open Orders: Displays all open buy and sell orders and their price differences from the current market price.
- Strategy Parameters: Running strategies support modifying price range, grid number, trade size per grid, TP/SL, and more.

7. FAQs
Q: Will Futures Grids created in the old version be affected? Can I manually upgrade to the new version?
A: Not affected. Old grids will continue to run under the original logic, but they cannot use new features such as trailing grid or parameter modification. One-click upgrade isn't supported at this time. Click “Copy” on the card. The system will auto-fill the current parameters on the new creation page. You can create the new grid after minor adjustments. You can choose whether to close the old grid.
Q: Will my positions be closed when I modify grid parameters?
A: By default, all current positions are closed at market price, and then orders are placed again according to the new parameters. This ensures grid consistency, so your position stays organized and doesn't get messy. We will consider offering a "keep positions" option in the future.
Q: If I enable trailing grids and the market keeps trending up, will the grid keep moving up indefinitely? Is there a risk of insufficient funds?
A: If you enable "Always move", the grid will keep moving according to the rules as long as margin remains sufficient. If you don't enable this, or if you set a trailing stop price, the grid will not keep moving indefinitely. Trailing grid's upward/downward movement essentially adjusts the entire price range while keeping each grid's buy/sell amount unchanged; the total required margin increases as the range rises. If your available balance is insufficient to meet the new range's minimum margin, the system will notify you that movement isn't possible. The strategy will pause and wait for you to act. We recommend keeping sufficient funds before enabling trailing grid.
Q: What does “Pending activation” mean in grid status?
A: “Pending activation” means you created a grid and set it to “activation at trigger price,” but the trigger condition has not been met. During this time, the strategy does not occupy margin and will not place orders. Once the trigger price is reached, it will automatically change to “Running.”
Q: After the upgrade, how many Futures Grids can I run concurrently at most? If I reach the limit, can I still create new strategies?
A: Each user can run up to 30 Futures Grids concurrently. When you reach the limit, you must manually stop or close a running strategy before you can create a new one.
Q: Why are both Matched PnL and Unmatched PnL positive, but my total profit is negative?
A: Matched PnL refers to profit earned from matched grids. Unmatched PnL refers to profit from open positions waiting to be closed; it is the expected profit from pending orders, so both can be positive.Total profit also includes the current position's unrealized PnL, funding fee, and trading fees; any of these three can be negative, which can result in a negative total profit.
Q: Why hasn't my grid moved automatically even though it met the conditions?
A: Under extreme market conditions, trailing grids may not move in time or may fail to move. If multiple grids trigger movement at the same time, trailing grids process them in sequence, so there may be a delay. Please wait patiently for the grid to move. If the grid meets the movement conditions but is queued for processing and the price quickly returns to its previous level, the grid will recheck whether the movement conditions are still met. If not, it will not move, avoiding unnecessary fee losses caused by frequent grid movements.
Q: How are trading fees and funding fees deducted?
A: Trading fees are deducted from the strategy's idle margin. Funding fee collection and deductions also come from the strategy's idle margin. If your idle margin is insufficient, deductions will be taken from the margin of positions or orders. Keep sufficient margin in your strategy to protect your strategy account. You can open “Adjust margin,” select “Withdraw,” and view “Available” to see the strategy's idle margin.
Q: Why can't I modify strategy parameters?
A: If your Bots account has incurred significant losses, or frequent parameter changes have resulted in high trading fees, your available margin may become insufficient. Before allowing parameter modifications, the system checks whether there is sufficient margin. If not, modifications will not be supported to avoid the strategy failing to operate normally after modification.
Q: Why does the volume in the filled orders differ from the trade size per grid I set?
A: Grid order placement takes margin sufficiency and Perp Futures order limits into account. If margin is insufficient to place orders at your set trade size per grid, the grid will use the remaining margin to place orders, which may cause actual executed volume to differ from the trade size per grid. However, in the vast majority of cases, executed volumes match the trade size per grid.
Q: Why is the price difference between adjacent grid orders different from the grid interval I set?
A: The grid interval you set is the core basis for grid order placement. In most cases, the price difference between adjacent grid orders matches the grid interval you set. But Perp Futures have minimum tick size limits for orders, so the grid adapts adjacent order price differences to comply with those limits. This may cause minor differences, which is normal and the grid will operate normally.
Q: Why did the grid suddenly close during movement?
A: If a forced liquidation or TP/SL is triggered, or if you manually close it during grid trailing, the grid will prioritize closing the strategy, causing the trailing grid to stop. This helps avoid unnecessary fee losses.
Q: Why do the grid's trading fees and funding fees differ from my calculations?
A: Currently, Futures Grid trading fee and funding fee data are retained for only 3 months. If a grid runs for more than 3 months, the display of trading fee and funding fee data may be delayed. However, this will not affect the actual calculation of your trading fees or funding fees, nor will it affect the grid's returns. We will make improvements so trading fee and funding fee data can be displayed for longer periods.
