Address 0xd83 liquidated for $120M in BTC and ETH shorts on January 27

Address 0xd83, known as the "Air Force Commander", suffered $120M in liquidations on January 27 during BTC and ETH price spikes around 16:00 and 23:00, Coinbob热门地址监控 and Coinglass data show. The address's 40x BTC short positions were liquidated for roughly 277.5 BTC and 346 BTC at those times, totaling about $55.74M, leaving a remaining BTC short of about $61.42M with a liquidation price of $90,150; its 25x ETH shorts lost about 10,600 ETH and 13,300 ETH, or $69.95M combined, now standing at roughly $47.9M with a $3,007 liquidation level; PEPE shorts saw $7.37M in liquidations with around $4.04M still open. BlockBeats previously reported the address had rolled positions to become the largest short across BTC, ETH, PEPE and XRP with total exposure near $500M, was hit by $199M in liquidations on January 22 before rebuilding shorts to about $300M, and after the latest wipeout now holds around $113M in positions with a monthly drawdown exceeding $17M.
