Kraken to Roll Out CFTC-Regulated Perpetual Futures for U.S. Traders Within 30 Days
Kraken said it plans to introduce its first CFTC-regulated perpetual futures product for the U.S. market within the next 30 days. Eligible U.S. clients will be able to trade perpetual futures on digital assets including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, LINK, DOGE, LTC, and AVAX through Kraken Pro.
The company said it intends to expand the contract lineup over time and add more product features and collateral options.
Kraken Pro's perpetual futures will be offered by NinjaTrader Clearing, LLC, which operates as Kraken Derivatives US and is registered with the CFTC as a futures commission merchant. Related spot margin and perpetual futures offerings will also be available on Bitnomial Exchange, a CFTC-regulated venue recently acquired by Kraken's parent company, Payward.
