Ripple redeems OUSG on XRP Ledger as Mastercard routes and JPMorgan Kinexys settles USD to Singapore in under 5 seconds

Ripple redeemed the OUSG stablecoin on the XRP Ledger, with Mastercard routing the transaction and JPMorgan’s Kinexys system settling U.S. dollars to Singapore in under five seconds. The cross-border settlement was completed outside banking hours. The demonstration was positioned as validating XRP Ledger’s technical feasibility and end-to-end commercial flow for real-time cross-border payments. It also tied XRP’s settlement role to Ripple’s GTreasury product, which targets CFOs with a single dashboard to manage XRP/RLUSD alongside fiat.
