LG Electronics Partners With Arbitrum to Build Custom Ethereum L2 for Programmatic Ads
LG Electronics is building a proprietary blockchain network with Arbitrum to automate parts of the programmatic advertising market. The system is designed to use an onchain database for ad inventory and verified engagement records, with the aim of reducing fraud across LG Ad Solutions' reach of about 216 million smart TVs worldwide. After a pilot with an unnamed Japanese advertising agency, LG plans a broader commercial evaluation later in 2026.
