Three Saudi supertankers carrying 6 million barrels sail through Hormuz as Israel hits Lebanon

Three Saudi-flagged supertankers carrying a combined 6 million barrels of crude transited the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday. U.S. Vice President JD Vance said the U.S. Navy has allowed more than a dozen ships to reach Iranian ports and that more than 12.5 million barrels moved through the strait on Wednesday night. The moves signaled early implementation of a temporary U.S.-Iran understanding and eased immediate fears of supply disruption. Brent crude futures fell 2% on the day to below $78 a barrel, the lowest since the fighting began.
